Installation - Finishing Process

The installation occurs between the spaces of the metal gypsum board using threaded rods, according to specifications.

The entire system is aligned using a suture or laser.

Minor corrections are needed at the bottom part of the system for a perfect, elegant finish. At the connection points, slight sanding may be required using sandpaper.

PVC TO GYPSUM BOARD JOINT PROCEDURE

Step 1
Use double-threaded screws to fasten the PVC grille in place, ensuring a tight fit along the gypsum board.
Step 2
Lightly scuff the PVC surface with sandpaper to create a rougher texture. Fill the small gap between the PVC surface and the gypsum board by applying a thin, even layer of the special joint filler compound.
Step 3
Immediately after step 2, while the compound is still wet, place and adhere a special fiberglass joint tape over it, and then allow it to dry.
Step 4
Apply a thin, even layer of the special joint filler compound over the fiberglass joint tape and allow it to dry.
Step 5
Using fine-grit sandpaper, sand the surface until it becomes smooth. It is then ready to be painted.
